How do I build a formula driven by headcount in each department but place the result in just one department?

This is a common example of our C2C consolidation formula.

To build a consolidation formula, you just need to create a normal C2C, in the example below, we are multiplying a non financial category for Headcount by our software subscription expense per head.

Choose your name, target and source categories, then click on the Consolidate Result To menu and choose the one department where you need to place the result of this formula. This will calculate the formula for each department, then add those results together and place the result in your desired department.
