Do Variance Comments on Budget Comp Dashboards get deleted when I update the Actual budget?

Budgyt will keep the variance comments even if you reimport and overwrite your Actual data or make changes to the Budget.  We stamp the variance amount when leaving the comment as an audit trail for you in case the history has changed.  However, if you delete either of the budgets that create the variance, the comments will be deleted.

If you need to amend your Actuals, we recommend that you import and choose to overwrite the actual data, then rename it if necessary so as to keep the comments. 

Deleting your Actuals then importing to a new version will remove any variance comments.
