Free trial tips for getting started

Use these tips for the best free trial experience.

  1. Please use Chrome as your browser. Budgyt is optimized for Chrome.
  2. Everything on the dashboard is a hyperlink, as is any account name in blue
  3. The pencil icon is our edit tool.
  4. The datasheet (where you can edit data) can be found by clicking any element on the dashboard, or under Data/Formulas > Data Sheet
  5. If you add formulas, be aware that they calculate in order from top to bottom of the screen. There is a reorder button at the right of each formula row.
  6. All menus are searchable; there is also a magnifying glass at the top right of the screen that allows you to search the whole app
  7. The dropdown menus at the top of the dashboard change what you are looking at.
  8. All your budget scenarios are stored under Scenarios > All Scenarios. You can create as many as you like. There are a clone and a copy button on the right.
  9. You may add more users using the Users > Add User option.
  10. The Play symbol at the top right of the screen contains video tutorials on every main feature, including a couple of getting started videos, this is a good place to learn how to work Budgyt.

  12. Custom dashboards can be constructed using the Custom Dashboard button on the right. Once created they will be available under the green dropdown.
